Alright, well I was aware there is dispute on which order is correct so I wasn't sure if it mattered.

I think I'll start with the magician's nephew just because I can get that one the soonest.

That's the only reason why I really didn't want to read them. Didn't want to listen to the preaching but I have read he didn't intend them to be, it just happened. And I have heard from many non religious people that they were still excellent.

its not preachy. christian themes and such can be read into it if the reader choses. or you could just read it as a good fantasy.

I might say actually that I'm more a fan of Narnia that of HP, cause I've loved Narnia for a longer time...

I've read them but I didn't really like them. I thought they didn't have enough description and were written badly but I think that has more to do with the old kind of writting. Just personally I didn't think they were that good.

I'm Athiest and I like them. I think they're a great story. And unless you look really deep into the meaning,, it's hard to see they're Christian.

Their not Christian books so to speak. But the author, C.S.Lewis is a Christian and the books have a lot of Christian background to them. So, yes they are Christian books but they are meant for everyone!. Smile

oh yes! i love that series. although I've read all the way up to Horse and His Boy. I don't know why I haven't finished reading it but I haven't. I've read Magician's Nephew and all the rest expect The Last Battle and the last half of Horse and His Boy!

C.S. Lewis is a genius. =D

I'd say don't bother with the last battle...but parts if it are actually good...but over all I didn't like it.

I have the book that has all seven stories into one. I just read The Magician's Nephew and The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe. I still need to read the other five...

OMG absolutley awsome, "magic" so to speek, i also thought that "the last battle" was rather weak, it lacked th spectacle of the others.

(just encase you havent read the last battle look away now if u dont want to know what happend on th last page)

The ending is like "oh nevermind then" and they are all dead.

Spammage. BOT, I've read all of them. I loved them. I like the entire extended metaphor to christiantiy throughout it. It changed my perspective on a lot of things. I'll definitely have to read it again sometime.

Read Lion, Witch and Wardrobe when I was eight and have adored them ever since. I loath the films though...

My favourite is Voyage of the Dawn Treader, it's very surreal...

Least favourite is Horse and His Boy.
