Oh I know!! Like when Rose said, "Are you even sure she's italian?" And he's all, "Well, her names Bella!" I loled at that. I wore my team Edward shirt to the movies!
Oh, PLEASE don't tell me that was actually a line! Seriously? Yes, Swan sounds so Italian, and people this day in age always name their children names that have to do with their heritages . . .
Zenny, you need to see it and don't worry about what you have been hearing. Because honestly, it's getting ruined for you because all you are hearing are accounts from other people mixed with their opinions. I thought that was so funny... the kitchen scene was the only scene my mom liked. It was gerat, really. The movie was better than the book. The fact that he says that about her first name, especially since it was a shortening of her first name, was what made it so great. They were trying to hard to make her feel welcomed, it was too cute.
I was going to see it this weekend, but my plans fell through. I'm going to see it next weekend.
Anyway, it's a bad line no matter how you look at it . . . and people didn't already know her name in the film? _________________

i still can't believe my luck. i was content with watching this saturday and having to pay for tickets... but...
my boss, who is out of the country, received two premiere tickets. He wouldnt have been able to watch it because he'll be arriving on thursday, and its not like he's into this whole romance with a vampire idea.
anyway, I still called his wife to inform her about it. Of course I slipped in stuff like "really cool movie" and "vampire". She said she didnt want to watch anything about vampires coz she was alone now. And since she sensed that i wanted to watch the movie (coz I said "really cool movie"), she gave the tickets to me. _________________
very cool, hbp! Let us know what you think of the movie when you get to see it! _________________ Blame it on a simple twist of fate ~ Bob Dylan Team Cucumber, FTW!
do i put my "review" of the movie here? if not feel free to move it or tell me to move it..
i also posted this in twifo (i was too lazy to retype it lol)
people who know me can decifer these notes pretty well but if you dont understand just tell me. its just thoughts as i watched the movie
Spoiler:
eddy c smiles after jessica says hes gorgeous ...obviously (reading her mind or using super hearing)
when she walks into science class he has a snowy owl behind him (so when volde kills a huff they become a vamp but when he kills a bird it gets stuffed and put in a science class)
also she walks in front of a fan lol when he can smell her
i am impressed on how they summed up the beginning and made it interesting.
i like kristen as bella
"i dont really like the rain, any cold wet thing" eddy c laughs (rav loled)
i like charlie and how he snubs mike in the ER, wanted to see eddy c snub mike at prom
but i imagined carlile a bit different, i pictured him a tad older, like in his 30s at least ...he looked 20 and darker blonde hair.
when she dropped the apple edward caught it in his hands like the cover
the whole "i can read every mind in the world except yers" makes me laugh, maybe bella is too stupid to have a readable mind.
the whole sparkly thing was a big let down, but maybe it was video quality, i um... didnt get the cinematic experience. if it was better big screen then tell me and i will force brian to take me now!!!
i like how the movie is shot it reminds me of old movies like the omen.
i wanted to see more of the "meet the parents"
sheesh talk about blue balls poor edward
charlie reminds me of my dad (also named charles) cleaning his gun while meeting edward (brian) for the first time.
i liked the baseball game a lot... but i think they tried too hard with the graceful ness, it looked off to me. i imagined graceful like fluer but it seemed too forced.
i am also a bit disappointed in the jeep, i imagined it being bigger
rosalee didnt wear bellas clothes it was esme, i would love to have seen more of her.
the note is missing
the ending felt rushed like the director wanted to get to the fight scene so quickly.. you missed how she shook them off, why he wants her, the story of alice, etc..
and i liked the fight scene but their growls were too... piratey
oh and the burning of james and edward fighting his demons... i loved that
victoria at the prom? no one sensed her? not sure i buy that...
all in all it was a great movie, i liked it more than the book in parts.. if they could have the first half of the movie with the second half of the book it would be perfect. and brian so woulda killed me for dragging him to the theatre.

I meant the people at school.
I've seen the film now, and I have to say that Esme was probably the BEST character in the film. My favorite line in this movie is (and I kid you not):
Spoiler:
Clean this up . . . now! She was so dead on with the way that she said it! She really sounded like that motherly mother who can be super forceful! She definately made this film, dor me!
Ok so I've seen it twice and I like it more.... Yeah Esme was so good and Rene too and I liked movie Charlie, he didn't seem like book Charlie, and the overl all plot was ok the ending could have been better, it felt rushed and I guess since it's my favorite chapter it wasn't done well, talking about the chapter title "Angel". _________________
i might be seeing the premier on the 8th, i'm so excited!
then again i might not be, but someone i know is trying to get tickets so yay!! _________________
DON'T EAT THE DAISIES
Well, I finally saw the movie yesterday, and here's my review....
Spoiler:
It was brilliant!Much much better than the book. In fact, I think it was better than the HP movies, but maybe that's because I love romance movies. The movie was very different from the book, but I liked how they did it differently.
The casting was great!Edward and Bella were perfect, and that surprised me. I wasn't so sure Rob was going to play Edward well, but he did!And I love Kristen Stewart!Brilliant actress, she made Bella seem like she was actually smart, and that's saying something!Carlisle was different than I expected, but still awesome! And he sounded like he had a hint of an Italian accent, so at least they got that right. Or maybe I was just imagining things. Laurent seemed really different to me, it sound he was from the Caribbean or the Bahamas. But I loved how he said "Don't play with your food, James."I don't know why, but I just loved that line. Speaking of James, he gave me the creeps. I was literally shaking in my seat during the ballet studio scene. But that's a good thing!
I agree with ravvy, the sparkly thing was a big let down, but there's only so much you can do in a movie, right?Oh, and did anyone else notice Rob has an awesome chest?
The kitchen scene was great! That was so nice of them to make her Italian food. Emmet was great, and Esme as well. "Here comes the human!" I loled at that. And the Cullens house was awesome!I want to live there!
I loved the baseball scene as well. Rose looked ready to kill there when Bella said "Your out!"
Oh, I forgot to mention that I loved Renee! She was awesome, and not as hair brained as I thought she would be.
And the bedroom scene. Great scene, but it was really suspenseful. Someone in theatre yelled out "Kiss her already!" I agreed with her. But the kiss was awesome!i was waiting for that the whole movie!
The ballet studio scene was suspenseful, creepy, and exciting, just like it should be. I almost cried seeing Bella on the floor writhing in pain. And when Edward was sucking the venom out of Bella's hand, for a second I thought he wasn't going to stop, it was that good!
And in the hospital, one of my favorite scenes was when she reacted so badly to Edward saying she should go to Jacksonville. "You -you can't leave me!You can't say those things to me!"and he leans over and says "Where else would I go?" and then he kisses her on the forehead. I loved that, it was so sweet.
Prom night was awesome too, another one of my favorite scenes. I liked the converse and leg brace combination! That was cool. And when they were dancing around in the gazebo, that was awesome too!
There is probably more I want to say, but I can't think of them right now!But yeah, this was probably my favorite movie of all time! _________________ Awesome Sig By Yas!
I just finished the first book last week and just started the second, there alright, not as good as i thought they would be and a little addictive but a bit to predictable haha _________________
