ok, so just finished eclipse and i am so f*ckin' mad at jacob. he really is just a selfish git. first kissing bella, then making her feel guilty. he is now officialy my least fave character.
but i did love jaspers background. it was verry rich in detail, but very sad

oooh, careful with your language...

I hated Jacob in Eclipse... he was such an arrogant jerk. I have no idea how anyone can stand him, seriously.

Everyone said that New Moon (after Twilight)
Sucks, but for me it's not. Maybe they said "It sucks" because Edward left Bells. Very Happy

i know, right? jasper's got such an interesting backstory.
i practically fell in love with him after eclipse.
i tell my friend this and she doesn't understand how i can like him so much because he's so quiet all the time (she's an emmett lover so she's into the big loud funny guys), but am i the only one who finds that kind of mysterious silence sexy? Embarassed

umm the first 12 chapters or something were posted illegally online, so stephenie was like "fine, i'll just post the on my website so you can read it without it being illegal, but i'm not writing any more for a while now because of this." or something along those lines. that's all i heard about it.

Only because she kept handing out manuscripts to people other than her publisher and editor.

yeah... and one of those people just wasn't someone she could trust, apparently. I'm kinda dying to know who it was, ya know? Like, was it a colleague or someone at the publishers... or a family member or a friend... She said she only gave out a certain amount of copies, so she must know who it was... or at least have an inkling of some kind.

We (people on Twilightsucks.com) hope it is Robert Pattison, because it would be so funny. Because we know he was given one of those manuscripts.

I know he was one of those people with the manuscripts, but I don't think he would risk his career by doing that. And I don't think that would be funny because I like him and I wouldn't want it to be him who did something so backhanded.

She said that she knows exactly who it was, which really irks me. She knows exactly who she can't trust, and her fans have to suffer for it. I'm glad that I really didn't like her to begin with. I would be even more let down if I were truly a fan. Of course, her fans blindly believe that she's right in everything she does . . . even her faild grammar.

OK, so I found the quote, and maybe she didn't say that she knows exactly who it was, but she does give the impression that she knows exactly who it was . . .

I have a good idea of how the leak happened as there were very few copies of Midnight Sun that left my possession and each was unique. Due to little changes I made to the manuscript at different times, I can tell when each left my possession and to whom it was given.

^bitter much??? I like her and her flaws, and yes I am aware of her flaws. And as far as this case goes, its better for her to keep it private, if she reveals who leaked it, that person wouldn't last 24hrs.

and yes I wish she was a bit more protective, like many authors, about her work, but what happened can't be changed and I don't mind waiting, she can take her time as long as the final product is good.

I'm not bitter. I just don't like the woman. I didn't say that being flawed is a bad thing. Smeyer just has no tact and isn't as great of an author as she likes to pretend that she is. Maybe I am a little bitter. I read the entire series, expecting that maybe she would pull somehting great out of her hat in the end, and the she gave us BD. Then, when she was going to redeam herself a bit in my eyes by putting out a half-way decent book, she freaking decided to throw a tissy fit and no do it. That does leave me a little bit bitter. I was looking forward to that book.

I also don't think she should tell the public who leaked her book, but since she knows who did it, can't she just rain her wrath upon that person insted of punishing her fans? It's completely tactless to go about this the way that she is.

Surely this borders on spam. Of all of the typos made in a day on these forums, you decide to make an entire post pointing out mine, merely because you don't like me ever since I called you out for the lousy mod you are. Doing stupid stuff like this just proves my point.

I'm reading Twilight for the second time since I got it as what I took as a gag gift for my birthday February of last year. I'm now finding that I'm slightly enjoying it and that fact is insanely annoying to me. Mad
