spoilers for BD...
Spoiler:

When she kept calling Seth and asking about Jacob. She wouldn't let Jacob get over her. Pretty much the opposite of what Edward did. Except Jacob left to get over her and she just wouldn't let him. That is a serious sign of abuse, more common than the person who just leaves and doesn't call or anything. That happened to two of my irl bffs. The guys would call them or leave them text messages... oh it was awful. Constantly crying and wondering what was going to happen because just when they thought they were going to be ok, out of nowhere, he'd pop up again. Bella called consistantly, never allowing Jacob a moments peace. She even blew off her new husband to continue dancing with him.
And the way she kept running to Jacob, making him think he has a chance, even for a moment. She even wanted to name her baby after him. It was absurd what she did to Jacob... and to Edward, for that matter.

Ah, so when you get down to it Bella is almost as abusive, if not even MORE abusive, than Edward or Jacob is.

May I use your arguements on TSdC? I'd like to see what they think.

Go for it. Are you going to quote me or put it into your own words? I'm just curious. And please please please, link meh! I'm always curious as to what other people think. I adore my sparkly Edward, but I am well aware of his faults. I feel like a lot of Twilight haters put all the pressure on Edward to be flawlessly perfect, but few of them seem to realize that all three of them are very heavily messed up.

Honestly, I clicked around on some of the threads, hoping to see a lot of new ideas and theories... kind of like pf. That isn't what I found. Take your thread, for instance, no one has even mentioned my quote. In general, throughout the forums, there is a lot of "OMFFG LULZ TWILIGHT SUCKSSS" and "Bella iz so dumb." There really isn't much to it. It's the same kind of thing as the Twilight fanforums, except instead of "OMG EDWARD IZ SO SPARKLY" I just see a lot of "OMG SMEYER sjdlksdl." Instead of that forum being fun and thought provoking, I found it sort of immature.

You must have stumbled on some prety bad threads, then. Try some of Arzim's stuff. Near also has some good theories.. a lot of the good stuff is pretty hard to find, but I've been there a while. ^^; I can try to find you some threads I liked.

That would be really awesome, actually. I am absolutely interested in reading other people's opinions. I'm definitely more of a realist when it comes to the series and I know a few others who are, too, and would be interested in seeing other points of views. I like the overall story, but I'm well aware of it's imperfections. It's always interesting to see what others have to say because it can sometimes be surprising.

ATTENTION: I am re-reading Twilight (second time) and I am already up to the third chapter. My thoughts on Chapter One:

That's really nice of Bella's dad to buy her an car and I think Bella should be less worried about being different. The Cullens are way more different then Bella. I reckon Jessica is really nice too and I think Bella's mum is too worried about Bella, she should relax.

Arzim's counterarguements.

Bad Messages Thread This one I actually haven't read all the way through, but there's a lot of points in it that I've seen. x3

Science and how Meyer kills it

Meyerpire Venom

The Plot of Twilight

Some of my favorite threads.

I just read the four next chapters...

Bella is just plain mean to Edward, why is she so mean and quiet? I thought Edward quite heroic and Tyler shouldn't panick...

Because Bella is a selfish, rude, manipulative little biatch. I feel sorry for Edward in that his "soul mate" it such a hateable little slut. I have no idea how Meyer can say that Bella is selfless, kind and giving. She gives us no evidence to believe it.

I'm just reading New Moon now, I think she should have made a little more effort into the Cullen's party for her. Razz

lol, I agree with most of that Morgan... except for the slut part. She doesn't do anything slutty in the entire series. Confused

Pfft, if she's trying to play two men at the same time I find that rather slutty.

She's a tease, but not slutty. Not that a tease is any better. But technically, nothing she does is slutty..

Doesn't change what I think she is. You can have your opinion on it.
