From what I've heard about Breaking Dawn thus far, I think it's safe to say that the rumors can be put to rest as to which series is better.

Granted I never read a twilight book, but you get the point!

breaking dawn is an epic fail.
don't bother buying it.

i loved twilight. but BD killed it.

it's x43895639485763 worse then the HP7 epilouge.

actually, i like the HP7 ep. but nevermind.

it's horrible.

I totally haven't gotten Breaking Dawn yet. But from what I've heard, it's anything but an epic fail.

I completely agree.
I was incredibly disappointed.
Had to keep basically forcing myself to finish it.
Oh well.

I just remembered that Breaking Dawn came out yesterday. :] I still have to purchase it and read it. I'm excited for it, but I noticed that previous posts mention that it is not so great? I hope I don't agree. :[ I love the other three books and really don't want to be disappointed with this one.

I just got the book yesterday and am almost done with it!My family is freaked out at how fast I read. All I'm going to say is that it's impossible to hate Jacob after you've read Breaking Dawn. Very Happy

I read Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse in 3 hours Surprised

I am gonna read Breaking Dawn tonight. They aren't my favorite books, and I don't like Jacob or Bella, but the way they are written would make anyone read them.

That's cool. :] I'm a much bigger fan of Edward than Jacob, though. Jacob's awesome but I just don't want him to be with Bella. I can't really explain why, though... maybe I just don't like what he is. I like what Edward is way more. Very Happy (And I'm not saying what they are 'cause I'm not sure if it would be a spoiler or not for others.)

I am reading Breaking Dawn right now. It is defiantly a turn around from all the mushy gushy romance stuff I hate! Maybe that's why it is my favorite book in the series so far... but I'm not hearing good things about the ending, so im not sure!!

haha, I had the same thought!
oooh, and thank you for using spoiler tags, I appreciate that!

Please, everyone, for the time being, use spoiler tags for Breaking Dawn.
I'm going to try to keep this thread as spoiler free as possible, at least until the end of the week. This means, please everyone use spoiler tags! That way, everyone can discuss the book and give their opinions as they read the book. Plus, some people are still reading the series and haven't gotten up to Breaking Dawn, yet. I want to give them a chance to read the saga and discuss it without being spoiled. Thank you guys in advance!

That makes me laugh. The way it's written repulses me. I forced myself to finish Eclipse. It reminds me of a very long, drawn out fanfic.

i didn't necessarily dislike breaking dawn...
but to me it felt like stephenie meyer didn't even write it.
i never thought she would have done that with the story at all.
i understand the characters went through some changes, making them different.....but idk i guess i just expected something very different.

Ok Ive officially finished reading Breaking Dawn and my thoughts are this....WTF?!?

Spoiler:

ok seriously someone should have died or Alice and Jasper shouldnt have come back or they should have found out they died or Jake and Nessie should have run and Bella couldnt find them or something! I mean seriously what is up with the perfect ending?! Happily ever after is not how this should have ended. Its just wrong. lol. I think we need a remake with a longer deadline where she wouldnt have to cram in all that writing into one summer. Maybe if she re-wrote it someone would die lol. I was kinda hoping Bella would die when she was having the kid. I dont know why but it just seems like someone should have died or been hurt. There were no injuries with the Volturi which was slightly disappointing. I seriously thought that she would kill off either Jacob or Edward. Ok rant over. It was a good book anyways lol
