Don't you wonder. They never say, and in the movie her badge is too obscured to tell. She gets on so well with Draco, do you wonder if she is a Slytherin? A girl that unpleasant, I would think she must be. What do you guys think? _________________ "For too long we have been taught to praise the wrong heroes, thieves planting flags and murderers carrying crosses. I have no idea. If she is in slytherin wouldnt it be ironic that she got killed by "Slyherin's work". I would be pissed off if the founder of my house caused my death. Maybe she's in hufflepuff? _________________

It would have been Hufflepuff coz she's not all that smart and/or brave, except the 'unafraid of toil' part doesn't fit either as she majors in whining. Maybe Slytherin, but she doesn't have the backbone. _________________ If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you. |

I think it's Hufflepuff as well, she isn't brave, smart or mean to be in the other houses. _________________ Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus

I was watching the movie the other day and I was trying to look at the crest on her uniform, but it was too foggy. |

no way she was in slytherin. they only let in pure bloods (as sung in the sorting hats song) and the monster was there to "purify" the wiizarding race
i say hufflepuff bc she was a crier _________________ but perhaps those who are best suited to power are those who have never sought it. Those who have leadership thrust upon them ... and take the mantle because they must, to find to their own surprise that they wear it well |

For some reason I always figured she was in either ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. I am not sure about which one though seeing as her traits and qualities might fit both...besides the moaning and sobbing. She definitely doesn't have the traits though of Slytherin(too bad) because she isn't, rude, cunning, or anything like that and she could not have been a Gryffindor because she's not very brave or just to me. Nah I don't know I just get the feeling that she's more well suited in Hufllepuff or ravenclaw, the brains or loyalty...of which I still am undecided about. _________________

She seemed to have depression. Remember when Ginny threw the diary at her? She tried to kill herself over that (before realizing that she was already dead)! _________________ |

Uhm, Snape is a half blood, and he was in Slytherin hun.
The sorting hat doesn't know everything.
Just thought I'd clarify. _________________ "If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals." - Sirius Black |

And as is said in the books... they don't hate half-bloods, just the muggle-borns... _________________ Nederlands!! |

She couldn't have been in Slytherin, she was a muggleborn. The Basilisk only petrified/murdered muggleborns and we all know that Slytherins pride themselves on being pureblooded, or believing that pureblooded witches and wizards are better than all others.
But like someone already answered, she was in Ravenclaw.

Yep, his mother was a witch and his father was a muggle. |

Lets all stop talking about half bloods and establish the fact that she was a mugle born. that would be why she died. I believe that she was in Ravenclaw because she seems like a know it all and Hates Hermione because know it alls always have arguments and disputes about who's smarter. _________________
