OMG, I hate that movie. It's totaly pointless. It makes me want to go emo when I watch it. Total chick flick.

I'd really love to see that, Matt.
But High School Musical wasn't that great... the songs were kind of catchy though, lol. More in the second one than the first. The entire concept of it was kind of blank though, if you ask me. What made me really mad about the first one was that they never actually showed the musical... like, they showed all the preparation for it & then after that it's just like, "Oh nevermind you don't get to see the finished product." I wanted to kill the TV... and/or Kenny Ortega. |
^ OMG I completely agree. I was watching it for the first time and the thing I was looking forward to most was seeing the musical they were actually doing . . . AND WE NEVER SAW IT!!!
As for my opinion. It's okay. I don't love it or anything. It makes me laugh sometimes especially the second one i.e. the song "Fabulous". I sing it sometimes . . . with my friends . . . down the halls . . . at school. It's what theatre people like to do.

wow, i can understand that some people dislike the movie,
but peoplee, no need to go all "z0Mg I d3sPiiS3 iit" xD
i mean, it's disney. it's not a threat to human society either. it just happens to be a record-breaking success. well... for a disney movie, anyway.
yes, the plots are a little... bland, predictable. but since when are disney films/shows not?
point is, no need to get worked up about how much you "hate" it. 
'tis only an innocent movie.

I think HSM is the biggest waste of peoples time and money. Just to hear that they are making a HSM 3 makes me sick.  |

that's the whole part of it being a musical
that the emotions and scene hit a place where the characters burst into song and dance
