Read The Hobbit and all three LOTR. I'm rereading now and back on the ROTK and so far I have to say for sure that my favorite is The Hobbit and the other three are ok but they're just so descriptive that it gets annoying. Three big paragraphs on how a mountain looks like. Not necessary for me.

I would say that the TT LOTR book is the better one. It is far more descriptive and you really feel as though it exists

Eh, well I have read the 2nd book of Lord of the Rings. And Well I didnt think it was too good. It was a pleasent book but it didnt have the body filling shape like HP had. It was a good book overall, but it wasn't one of my favorites.

Eh. Confused
