I loved the Hannah/Neville bit but I still prefer Luna/Neville....I cannot understand the Luna/Dean...it's plain weird for me...

i know. there are absolutely no clues about neville and hannah... unless theyre both the herbology experts. but i think theyd be cute. hannah has blond pigtails right? hehe theyd be cute.

I've always pictured Neville/Luna, but Neville/Hannah does seem sweet.
Dean/Luna? o_O That's a bit odd for me.

No, Luna ends up with Rolf Scamander, Newt Scamander's grandson. Newt is the guy who wrote Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
I'm guessing they could have started liking each other at any time. She was a Hufflepuff, and he spent a lot of time studying Herbology and her Head of House is the Herbology prof. Their paths could have crossed in Herbology, the one class they had with the Hufflepuffs that Neville was actually good at. Or maybe they fell in love after the battle sometime... while he was hanging out in the Leaky Cauldron.

I really loved Neville/Luna so this makes me kind of sad  ...plus I wish we had known more about Hannah the only part I really remember her from is the sorting. She wasn't a huge character at all...maybe if I knew more about her I would be more for her and Neville. So, I guess now I'll just have to lie to myself and pretend that Neville and Luna wound up together.

That is actually sad, because I becomes a Hogwarts professor. That means that they live away from each other for most of the year. The professors do live at Hogwarts during the school year, right?

According to JKR's interview from last Friday night, Neville and Hannah live above the bar...
I suppose Neville commutes. It's possible, it never says anywhere in the books (or in JKR interviews) that the profs have to live at Hogwarts, only that they do. Or some of them do... we know that Snape still had a home on Spinner's End... maybe he didn't live there and we only assumed. Or maybe he had that place in addition to a room at Hogwarts. But I'm sure Neville would be allowed to commute.
In this interview, given on July 8, 2000 in the South West News Service, she gives a bit of info....

And there is also the possibility that Neville could have been the first prof to commute... but I doubt that. I'm sure they wouldn't be forced to live apart for most of the year. Otherwise, not many married people would want to teach at Hogwarts and that would not be fair for the married people who would be great teachers, but would refuse the job simply because they'd be forced to live away from their families.

i thought the neville and hannah thing was a shock. but im happy neville found someone, he deserved it.
i was kinda hoping it would be neville and luna. but im happy with hannah as well.

I liked Neville/Luna too, but I guess there isn't as much holding them together as Neville/Hannah, really none of them talk, but at least Hannah and Neville would have herbology. Plus they could have been talking for a while now throughout those classes.
And actually, as strange as Dean/Luna was at first it seemed cute the way they talked with each other, and how confused Dean was by everything. If anything it seemed possible they would go out for a while or just be close friends but they wouldn't ultimately end up together.
