Has anyone else heard the many rumors that Emma is going to quit Harry Potter? I think it would be an awful for the movies, I just could not see anyone else playing my beloved Hermione.

And you know who was rumored to be among the Hermione wannabe's.... Lindsay Lohan! EW Shocked

i heard she was quitting after the 5th one. but i was looking at imdb.com and it says she is in the 6th one for pre-production. so she may be doing them all

well thats not that big of a mess up. i mean yeah the new dumbledore was different, but flitwick you hardly even noticed

I haven't heard anything of her departure, but no one could replace her. The last film, imo was a bit out of character, but I think it was more of the way that it was written.

I have heard about it,but I heard its because she is more "Developed" then the directors want her to be. Thats the only reason why I have heard she was quitting

All the contracts are being signed for the last film.

Dan and Tom Felton have definately signed up. I think the studios would be totally mad to change Hermione in the last film, so hopefully they won't even consider it.

PS When they were casting Tom Felton, they considered him for the role of Harry Potter as well as Draco.
I think IMHO they cast him in the wrong role!!
