Please do, that sounds cool. When I was young my dad worked in art restoration, so he was quite the metalworker and woodworker. I had him make me a simple black wand I'd carry with me everywhere. I've yet to get a black hooded robe, however.

I can't remember seeing very much of the details of the wands in the movies except Harry's and Umbridge's, which was very, very well done I thought.
It would be awesome to have one though, I know someone who had her brother make her one since he works with wood and stuff.

When I was at college I made Snapes for a friend who was like really obsessed with snape..wore a t-shirt everyday.

While I was making it I was dancing along to "paint it black" by the stones and my friend got his hair caught in the cd drive of a PC it was so funny..

but yeah..obsession

I followed the link and read this: "Please note: while this wand is fun to hold, it's a true collectible and not a toy. It may break if treated roughly."

So what good it is if all you can do is hold it gently? They also don't say they will fix it if it breaks. I have to say that I expect people to wave mine around and wack people on the head, and if they break they're under warranty for the first six months.

I have no problem standing behind my wands...it's in front of them that scares me! Actually, with some of them, beside them isn't too safe either, now that I think about it!
