Yes it does. Notice how they celebrate Christmas. A chrsitian holiday. Notice how they celebrate Easter. another Christian holiday. Voldemort obviousley is the Devil and Dumbledore is something like a savior. he died for Harry representing Jesus Christ dieng for our sins.

it certainly doesnt show Islam. No Ramadan. No Eid. No nothing

Isnt Judaism. no Hannaka. No Jewish traditions of practices.

But it can Christianity. celebrate Christimas (Birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior). Easter (Death and Resurrection of Jesus)

While it's true that they celebrate Christmas and Easter, keep in mind that those have become internationally celebrated holidays. In Japan, for example, very few have the religious fervor you might find in America, and just as few are Christian (0.7% of the entire population), yet it is not uncommon for someone in Japan to be celebrating Christmas, or even Easter! Therefore, those two holidays cannot be used as evidence of Christianity in the book, since non-Christians celebrate them (while very few non-Jewish people celebrate Hanukkah).

Also, good and evil are concepts in every religion and all societies since the dawn of time. Jesus is not the first Saviour of mankind. There are many such characters.

This is from the christain who reads harry potter
there is a book called finding god in harry potter
even though there is still alot of controversy in the christain world about harry potter
like i read the series but keep in mind that it is fiction
the controverse is whether or not a christain should read it
obviously there are
i am here
my boyfriend watches the movies and he is the junior youth leader at my church
a few other people in my youth group read and watch the series
again keeping in mind that it is christain
yet there is a lot of peple who thinks all the books and movies in world should be burned
jk is catolic
she attends a calthoic churchin scotland
as far as it being chrstain ish you can find god in any book or movie that is the basic good vs. evil
my mom doesnt apprpve of the series and she is a pastor
she has her own reason
they tried to force my niece to read them when she didnt want to
i have told her that isnt the books fault
anyways
i have been on both sides of the battler ground
about two years ago i was on the dissapprove side
now i am on the approve side
anyways
yes there is a christain side to this
yet alot of the controversy to harry potter has move because of the golden compass
there are still christains on each side of the battle line
i reget to say that there always will be
yes jk is catjolic
if that had any affect on her wrtiting i dont know
but she is catolic
