The book already stated that he recovered with a desire for undercooked meat his only side effect. I find it more likely there will be a showdown between greyback and lupin. _________________ "For too long we have been taught to praise the wrong heroes, thieves planting flags and murderers carrying crosses. I'm confused. Isn't Greyback out of it now? During the last battle, Harry did the Petrificus Totalis spell on Greyback and One Dark Eater who was at the top of the tower. One other Dark Eater died. Besides Snape and Malfoy, the tall blonde one, and the brother sister combo escaped. I thought the spell wouldn't have lifted until someone lifted it or the caster was dead? HBP didn't say but wouldn't those two death eaters Harry got be in Azkaban now? _________________ You're just jealous cause the voices only talk to me!
Good point, Pensive. Greyback WAS stunned, so he probably is in azkaban. BUT, who knows what will happen next book. Without dementors, do you really think they can hold a werewolf as powerful as him? _________________ "For too long we have been taught to praise the wrong heroes, thieves planting flags and murderers carrying crosses. Id forgotten about that, but I think even if Greyback in Azkaban there is bound to be another escape in the next book. Lucius Malfoys in there and he is likely to play a part in the next book with everything thats happened with Draco.
What is guarding the prisoners of Azakabahn?? I thought the Dementors left to do the bidding of LV?????? When Harry and his friends were in the hall gettting the prophacy, how did the mages get out of those petrification spells???? 2 go in to room 2 come out not 3????
Your right, the dementors did abandon azkaban. Perhaps it is being guarded by Aurors??? Just a thought
Spoiler:
I was thinking about the Petrification spell actually, we find out from Harry just after the big finale that he thinks that the spell DD did on him only wore off because DD is dead. But maybe the spell just happened to wear off at that time, perhaps it does just wear off after a while??
Was Greyback stunned or petrified?....... *toddles off to find HBP*....
Thats right willow! Im not quite sure how the spell works but maybe it can wear off? but i dont think... im going to re read that part again... _________________
In the beginning of HBP, JKR addressed this spell. When Draco performed it on the train. Harry had images of himself riding the train all the way back to Kings Cross, and not being found until somebody tripped over him. If it weren't for Tonks that just might've happened. The Death eaters that were hit with the Petrificus Totalis curse were found later by the Ministry folk. In fact the Ministry of Magic mentions to Harry about the one found on top of the tower when he asks Harry if he was up there. I'm assuming these guys were taken into custody. _________________ You're just jealous cause the voices only talk to me!
I hope that son of a b*tch dies, but with lodas of pain, loads... (I mean Grayback...). Bill will be OK... he might not be as hot as he was, but still, he is alive, and that is a lot to say... _________________ Sonita
I don't think there is much damage done to Bill but to some extent (& like anyone's gonna care!). I 2 hope that that $#@$%@(Greyback) dies PAINFULLY! _________________ Never miss a good chance to shut up!

Regulus's full name -
Regulus Arcturus Black
Could be R.A.B
Yeah, so we can assume it doesnt wear off that easily?
What if Dumbledore put a time limit on the spell or something? Is that even possible? Or maybe he made it so that when he knew that Harry saw him "die" that he would then let the spell lift so he could tell others. A possibility?? _________________

I guess we shall see that in the next book... I hate waiting so much though... HURRY UP J.K. ROWLING!!!! _________________ Sonita
Yeah, and she does have kids.... but I just wish it would come out! Maybe we could steal a time turner and go forward a year to get the book....?
Anyway, I think there will definitely be a showdown between Grayback and Lupin. It only makes sense...Grayback was the one who bit Lupin in the first place, right? So Lupin needs revenge, even if he doesn't admit it in the books. I'd want revenge.
The question is, though, who will emerge victorious? I hope hope hope it's Lupin, because Grayback has ruined his whole life. But I think Lupin is bound to die, so maybe it will be here that he does.
Think about this: Grayback likes biting his enemies' children. Lupin was a child when he got bitten, so maybe his parents did something to incite him? Perhaps Lupin's past will come into play in the seventh book, more than before... _________________ Fairytales are more than true; not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.
