The title for Book 7 has officially been announced:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
There is also a way for HP fans to find the title through JK's official site. Once you enter the site, click on the eraser (a portkey) to start the adventure.
For more information, read one of the many news articles: CNN.com Article _________________

Hallows = another name for Halloween or something? _________________

I think it may have something to do with a graveyard.
I think there was something about JK not wanting the graveyard in the grounds of hogwarts because it may have some importance in other books.
Interesting title. *Screams and hugs title* _________________

Thought it was Godric's Hollow?
Could be wrong.
But there is a difference between Hallows and Hollow. _________________

now that is what came to my mind first Godrics Hollow.
Then I remembered about the grave yard and the halloween connection. _________________

I'm probably mistaken. I was just paying attention to the pronounciation, not spelling. _________________

Halloween is All Hallow's Eve
I really want to know what the title means.
I'm going to go crazy waiting for the next book. _________________

| I am glad that there is a title, but I just want to what it means. From the past books, we could speculate what might happen and the title just isn't giving anything away; at least not for me. |

| Well, HBP wasn't a great title either. |

| But the question with that, was who the heck was the HBP? I enjoyed guessing, even if I guessed wrong. I knew that that book was going to have a lot to do with whomever HBP was. Now with Deathly Hallows? Nothing, absolutely nothing is coming to my mind. |

JKR on publication date.
The announcement of the publication date on JKR's website was unusually brief. This means that JKR is unhappy about the date.
This could not be further from the truth! The 21st July publication date has given me enough time to write the book I wanted to write, and for the manuscript to be properly edited. These are the most important things to me. An earlier date - eg, 7/7/07 - would have meant that either the writing or editing was rushed, and neither my publishers nor I wanted that. Any brevity in my announcement was down to the fact that I was busy editing! _________________ Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today. |

yay for jo!
don't you guys WANT her to take her time, so we get a longer/better book than it would have been? I, for one, am not upset in the least about the date. If the writing and/or editing was rushed, we wouldn't get the same quality book we're going to get. _________________
