I waited until all the extended editions for The Lord of the Rings came out, got a ten-gallon bag of popcorn, a 12 pack of coke, and a case of Visine and watched all three back-to-back-to back. It tells one continuous story, and I wanted to see it all together at least once.

10 hours or so of Middle-earth is quite a commitment. Vaguely 18 hours of Hogwarts seems to be a bit much since it was intended as seven books linked by an overall story arch, wheras Tolkien wrote Lord of the Rings as a single book. I might watch them over 7 successive nights, but I don't think I will try and watch them all in one overdose orgy of Harry Potter.

I wouldn't be surprised to find myself doing it at one point or another, but I'm not going to commit myself to it at a certain date. I wouldn't plan it.

I would spend my whole Saturday watching them back to back. I did it with The Bourne, Lord of the Rings, and 10th Kingdom series and I'll do it again.

I would love to say yes, but I know that that wouldn't work out for me. I would get so antsy half way through the second one. I actually tried watching that first four back-to-back awhile ago. It didn't work out.

I don't think I'd be able to watch it back to back. I would probably watch one movie per day or so.

I do that every single year after the release.
Always watch them all in the same day, I like to compare ages, differences, characters, personality's that change..
