Thanks to DVDTown.com, you can now take a look at the front cover and the back cover of the new Order of the Phoenix widescreen DVD as well as the front and back cover of the special edition. As previously reported, the movie is said to come out on DVD on December 11th of this year.

There we go with those stupid broomsticks again!!! That never happened in the movie! Who is in charge of the art for the dvds, they need to be fired!

Cool covers! Are they the same all around the world or doed the UKs look crappy?

yeah i like the widescreen front cover and the special edition back cover. the back cover of the widescreen looks obviously terrible and the special edition front cover looks too plain.

this one is apparently an early version i found on mugglenet that i liked the best cause it has my fav poster/cover and a good back cover with just harry on the broomstick. i like the effect with the black and white to color but i liked how the front cover's poster was all the cool light blue look originally.

I just hate the ones with the DA on those broomsticks! They took the Order scene and combined it with the DA scene or something... whoever did the art for that poster needs to be fired.

Those are cool. I found a list of the deleted scenes that're going to be on the DVD, and it's a bunch of worthless stuff. You'd think we'd actually get to see something that was left out of the books, but nooooo...

According to mugglenet, and a few other sites, the release date as of now is Dec 11, 2007. This could change though, it's still pretty early.
