well, david yates is continuing his habit of cutting out scenes... there might be NO SCRIMGEOUR... and some of the MEMORIES (tom riddle parts) will be cut.

I got my stuff there...

This is exactly why they should put Christopher Columbus on set...he did an excellent, if not perfect job of interpreting the books into movies...

I couldn't find exactly where it said there would be no Scrimgeour... If Scrimgeour is cut, then what is going to happen to my favorite line from DH? That was a very pivotal line! Sad

I'm not surprised some of the memories will be cut... there was a lot fo them.

It's not all Yate's fault, it is also the job of the Screenwriter and producers to get this film together. But I know that Yates probably had a hand in this because of what he said about wanted to film (OotP) the be shorter... probably wants the same thing for this film.

I know! Titanic went over three hours, so did LotR... and no one complained about those being "too long", not the critics, anyway. But HP has never gone over 3 hours, yet everyone complains it's too long. It's absolutely ridiculous!

I'm wondering what a riddiculus and weird project will be this film without memories and Scrimgeour. HOW they will tell people what are horcruxes? I'm not sure, if Yates has read the book?! I'm so dissapointed also about not putting Coulson inside... I don't know, if I will go watch the film...

Why have they put away Chris Columbus?

They didn't even mention the significance of the prophecy in OoTP -.- how do they expect to fit in things that won't confuse people who didn't read the book...

I think they should bring back Chris Columbus as well. He did a great job with the first two. Who decided to play musical directiors in the first place? If Yates is trying to make the film smaller then I really dont like him. If they can make these last two movies around, if not over 3 hours, then I'll be a little forgiving with the series as a whole. I dont see why they cant make the films longer. This is the highest grossing film series ever. I know they have the money.

Chris Colombus did. He opted out of directing the movies and moved on to producing them, instead.

I'm not fuss about Scrimgeor, but if they cut the gaunts memories, I'll kill them. I love to hear the parseltongue, they're unique!

I do hope that Scrimgeour is in it. I always pictured him as Baron from Final Fantasy 6. I love his figure in the book, a tall lion-like, scarred man. All aurors are cool anyways.

And I would also love to see the pensieve memories, especially the one with the Gaunts, I found that one of the more interresting parts of the book.

they can do away with the stupid kissing of lavender and ron. its not like its crucial to the story. they just want to make the movie a hit by showing make-out scenes with ron and lavender. we want the memories. we want scromgeour. we want the story!

Ugh the memories were my favorite part of that book. Getting into Riddle's background was a huge part of the story.
