Am I one of the only people who thought they did a horrible job? They way things are going with the amount of things being left out, when I go to see the 6th movie there will be nothing from the book. I was so excited to see the mental version of Lockhart, to find that it was even somewhat confusing to my boyfriend who had never read the books that Neville's parent's where in the hospital. I had to tell him after, because they only make to lines in the movie as a reference to it, and he didn't catch on.
Eh, i thought it was alright. Not my favorite HP Movie but it wasnt that bad. It had a good story line and such and kinda followed the book. It lefted out a truck load of stuff though. That really got me mad. But other than that i thought that most of the movie was pretty good.
I didn't like it at all. There was far too much missed out. i've heard people say that the book is too long and the film just condensed the best bits. This to me is a load of sheep poo. i've read the book at least 7 times and i like it. I just wanna know what they're going to do about the Room Of Requirement???
Umbridge blew the wall off
What are they going to do in film 6 and 7. Pretend it didn't happen? or make it seem like the wall can heal itself..
like i have said in some of my other post it would have been better if they would've stuck to the story line from the book _________________ Events only happen if you let them happen.
I for one thought it was awful. For one thing, it was extremely dark and shadowy. Also, even having read the book twelve times (literally), I found it a little hard to follow, not to mention for people who haven't actually read it. It seemed kind of random, like the director tossed what he didn't like and just replaced it with stuff he made up. That kid who was supposed to be Collin Creevey, for instance, I forget his name in the movie...
And in the GoF as well, where the heck were the house elves? And LOCKHART?! _________________ We're goin' down down in an earlier round,

I agree, I loved the Lockhart part in the book, and that is honestly what got me mad...I totally forgot about the house elves though, I have only read this book once, when it first came out. But that was such a huge part of the book. Gah! _________________
Yeah...and it doesn't look like the sixth will be any better, and I hear the seventh will be done in two parts. _________________ We're goin' down down in an earlier round,

I didn't start reading the books until after I went to see ootp, and my mom and brother were saying how much was left out and I thought it was okay but I was a little confused. After I finished that book I watched the movie and there was a lot left out and it wasn't as good as the book. I liked the book a lot better.
I think that the directors/producers/etc started with good intentions, but then they kind of decided they no longer liked the plot, so they just decided to butcher JK's epic plot and fill it in with a bunch of crap they made up. So yeah, like I said before, the movie sucked.
Also, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against American directors, being American myself, but I think maybe they Harry Potter movies should have had British directors. But that's just me. _________________ We're goin' down down in an earlier round,

Same with my ex. I told him how much was left out, and he never knew until he read them.

this is the worst movie.i didnt like that david yates directed this movie.and now he;'s about to destroy the 6th and 7th movie too.i hope they just made mike newell the director
I thought it was awesome only because i like Harry Potter. But if i only watched movies. A mediocre fan i would have hated it it missed out so much had the worst ending in history and didn't explain anything.
I disagree... when I read the book right before the movie, it pissed me off since I was comparing it.
When I watched it last weekend, without hte book to compare it too since it wasn't fresh in my mind, I really liked it a lot.
it was rubbish they missed out far too much
they are splitting up the last movie but i think they will find it really hard to do so because they have missed out so much in this movie they have to miss a lot out in the final movie for example
Percy coming back
i also think they should have shown kreacher a lot more because when he changes in the seventh movie people who haven't read the books will think that he was always nice as they didn't show him as a muggle-born hater and suppoter of the dark lord.
and Dobby. when he dies everyone who read the books will be really upset but if they just watched the film they won't because he isn't seen as one of harry best friends who helps him all the time:
he gets him the gillyweed not Neville
he finds the room of requirement not Neville
it seems to me that Neville is stealing Dobby's glory because they cut out Neville's own glory
also Sirus never gave Harry the two way mirror which means that Aberforth won't be looking over Harry so how can Dobby save him.
i am a VERY big harry potter fan and to be honest i thought it sucked
David Yates is also about to wrcek the last three movies and i hate to say this but half of me doesn't want to go and see this movie however the other haf of me does and i couldn't live without it so am going to see it _________________ Check out ma harry potter fan syt www.LoopyLoveGoodsSite.piczo.com
