Neville Longbottom is great! He's an "every man" who has fear and self-doubt but also has his own strengths. In the stories/films, he has given so many funny moments...

-When he wins the last 5 points for Gryffindor (I think I cried once at that moment...I was so happy. Everyone's surprised looks and his dumbfounded reaction were classic!)

-"Why is it always me?" (Cornish Pixies single him out!)

...can't recall any moments in PoA at the moment...

-"Oh my god! I killed Harry Potter!" (Gillyweed)

Wouldn't be "Harry Potter" w/o Neville.

Yes! Go Nevile!
I liked him since Philosopher's Stone. It's weird; I seem to like all the underdog characters. I guess it's because they're not perfect, and human. Haha, although, that's not to say he was always an underdog. He totally rocked in Deathly Hallows.

I love me some Neville. He didn't quite come out of his shell completely until the 7th book. He was Mr. Bravery there. Begging to fight, standing up to Voldemort even though he though Harry was dead. He wasn't going to disappoint Harry, he went straight for that snake. Go NEVILLE!! I love when he comes running down the corridor with the Mandrakes saying "they aren't going to like this very much" he's actually got a bit of a sense of humor.

I also like Neville as a favorite charater in books 5, 6 , and even 7 when he was brave enough to kill Nagini at the Battle of Hogwarts , and also it is funny how he starts out in in book 1 , as this awkward , forgetful , lovable , wussy kid who can't do spells very well and turn out to be this brave kid who kills Nagini by chopping it's head off with the Gryffindor sword in book 7 . Very Happy

i dont know if i appreciate neville as much as his parents and their wonderful genes.

he seems to be growing up to be a very handsome young lad.

OH, NEVILLE.

I really do love Neville.

I cried every time he would appear while reading DH, because I thought JKR was going to kill him off. D:

Heart o' gold, this kid. He's way underrated.
