i was so mad that they didnt have the seen where Hermione and Ron become Prefects it mad me soo mad bc my favorite line is in that chapter! Its when Mrs Weasly says "Thats everybody in the family!" and Fred and George say "What are we next door neighbors." LOL it cracked me up in the book. i was disappointed.

they left a lot out. but that's typically how movie reproductions of books are. i was really disappointed too. and the dueling scene at the end was great, it just wasn't nearly long enough.

Ya that was prolly my favorite scene in the whole movie the rest to me was a disappointment!

Yea it was like it took forever to get to the cool dueling part at the end, and then it was really short. I hated that.
I hope the 6th one is a lot better as far as accuracy and not so much "showy" stuff just trying to make the movie look good.

Ya i no its only appealing to the ppl who havent read the books a million and one times bc they have no clue wat the real story is.
and wat makes me laugh is i have friends who say their "HP Freaks" and the dont even read the books im like read the books and youll be as ticked off as me!

lol yea there's always people who seem to "jump on the bandwagon". but anyone who knows Hollywood is gonna know that the books are atleast 10 times better than the movies. i've never watched a movie that was better than the book.

exactly! and ppl are so tired of ppl going to the movies and after seeing it they say oh the book is so much better bc ITS TRUE! so read the dang book! GAH!

yeah, it was stupid how they didnt mention them becoming prefects, thats one thing that contributes to harry thinking that dumbledore doesnt like him, because he didnt become a prefect...

That's because in a film, you have actors and actresses and directors creating that image for you. You can't use your own imagination. That's why a book is almost always better- because you can picture it as how you see it. But then again, part of it is the screenplay. The screenplay doesn't include everything from the book.

| i liked that part too but it didnt enhance the plot it would have only resulted in them having to be gone to do their prefect duties and leaving harry alone to hang around with luna and neville, which ppl who saw the movie and didnt read the book would prolly get mad at. |

It really is not that great that they are forced to leave so much out of a movie.
There are really key elements that I feel are always left out.
I would like to think that 6 and 7 will be better but I know that they will just be lacking. I think that in order for them to truly be able to capture book seven the movie will have to be 4 hours long.
